With a 3-in-1 jacket such as the Downdrift 3-in-1 Jacket from Patagonia, you will be equipped to face the majority of weather phenomena that the winter can throw at you. The outer fabric, made with 2-layer technology, has a polyurethane coating that makes it water and windproof; and the surface has also been given a PFC-free DWR (durable water repellent) finish. Therefore, with this outer layer, moisture is no longer a problem. First of all, the inner jacket scores points with its durable Ripstop nylon outer layer, which protects the precious down insulation. This, in turn, provides excellent heat insulation with its 600 cuin thickness, meaning you won’t be feeling cold in a hurry! So that it can also be worn on its own, the inner jacket has also been given a DWR coating.

Resource-efficient manufacture

In their production of the Downdrift 3-in-1 Jacket, Patagonia have also fulfilled their aspiration to achieve manufacture that is as environmentally friendly and resource-efficient as possible: the synthetic materials are made from 100% recycled polyamide and polyester, and the inner jacket’s down filling is made from 100% recycled duck and goose down. The DWR coatings on both jackets are each free from perfluorocarbons, and the entire product is Fair Trade-certified.
