The perfect jacket for all-weather cyclists
Patagonia have really outdone themselves with the Dirt Roamer Storm Jacket! A mountain bike waterproof jacket in an anorak style is not something that comes along that often, however, this design really makes sense, as this way the jacket does annoy you with lumps and bumps and a crumpled zip if you are wearing a backpack with a hip belt. The hood fits underneath a helmet without any problem and can be adjusted using a drawstring to ensure a clear view to the sides. There are zips to the sides, which facilitate putting on and taking off with a helmet, and if necessary can be used as ventilation openings. If you are carrying the jacket with you, just in case the weather takes a nasty turn, it scores points with its tiny packed dimensions and the fact that it can be stowed away in its own back pocket. When rolled up, it fits nicely inside a bottle holder on a bike! The durable 3-layer H2No fabric is water and windproof, and also breathable. On the inside a moisture-wicking, soft knitted layer pampers the skin and provides pleasant comfort. Made from 100% recycled materials!
